This is one of the most unusual and innovative jackets I’ve ever come across. The label is ‘Janet McPhee Haute Couture Sydney’. (Unfortunately, I can’t find much on the internet about her).
This circular jacket is made out of what I think is ‘sharkskin’, (from Ai search: ‘Sharkskin fabric is a type of textile known for its distinctive sheen and smooth texture, typically made from a blend of wool, mohair, or synthetic fibers. It is commonly used in suiting and has a unique twill weave that creates a subtle pattern and a two-tone appearance.’
On the body, it is a real swing jacket with a large shawl like collar and bell shaped sleeves. It is fully lined. Although it has been worn, and is mostly in good condition, one of the hanging loops needs replacing, and some of the stitching needs restoring.
I’d say size is between 12-14.
